The Cherokee B2B Networking group celebrated its "birth" day on Thursday, January 26th. Fourteen local business owners and representatives gathered at the Canton Best Western for a unique kind of networking opportunity.

Founding member Kelly Geiken, a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments, brought a chocolate cake from the Frosty Frog Creamery in Hickory Flat to mark the occasion.

The Cherokee B2B Network is a group for businesses that primarily sell to other businesses. Each member reserves his/her business category or "seat" and is expected to participate by sharing knowledge through speaking and writing, sharing referrals and leads, and enjoying a wealth of business knowledge from other entrepreneurs and business people from around Cherokee, North Fulton, Cobb and Pickens counties. Founded by Linda Lullie of Inspired 2 Design and Wendy Corlett of Acclaim Professional Services, this group is different by design from other groups in the area.
